Yorkshire – hopeful mum seeking donor or coparent
Hi, I’m a 38‑year‑old woman who’s been a bit unlucky in love, but I haven’t given up on my dream of becoming a mum. I’m open to using a sperm donor (AI) but I’d like my child to know their father, so ideally you would be ok with a little contact. I’m also open to a coparenting relationship. After 15 years as a Primary School Teacher, I’ve seen every type of family imaginable, and I know that love, stability and intention matter far more than traditional structure.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone who hasn’t donated before or who has kept their donations very limited, and who is comfortable using AI. I’d also love to meet someone who might be open to having more than one child, my hope is for two children, around 2–3 years apart, though that’s not a strict requirement.
Family is a huge part of my life. I grew up with two sisters, and my parents were married for 45 years before my dad sadly passed away this year. I now live permanently with my widowed, retired mum, who is fully supportive of my decision to start a family. One of my sisters is child‑free by choice, and the other has a husband and a wonderful four‑year‑old daughter who is the absolute diamond of the family (and definitely a bit spoilt as the only child!).
I’m ready to become a mother and give my child the same love, security and joy my parents gave me. I live an active life and feel happiest outdoors. I have a slight addiction to scuba diving… monthly trips, lots of time on boats, and a six‑month plan to finish my instructor qualification before pregnancy. I’m currently alcohol‑free, caffeine‑free and taking all the vitamins needed to support egg health, because I want to give my future child the best start possible.
I live life with empathy, optimism and a lot of laughter. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, committed, emotionally warm mother for your child or if this situation sounds like the kind of family journey you’d like to be part of please feel free to get in touch.
