I have a sperm donor – but he lives in Australia!

One of my best friends who is gay said he would be willing to donate his sperm, but he lives in Australia while I live in London! Does anyone have any advice on how this could work / how to go about this?

I understand sperm only survives about 3 hours outside of the body at room temperature (inside lasts much longer). Given that women generally have a fairly narrow window of opportunity for conception each month, I would say this makes an arrangement with a donor in Australia impractical.
