documentary about co parenting
Hello,
I am a London based documentary film maker and I am researching a documentary about co parenting. My research started out of a personal inquiry to look in to the various options open to me as a single woman hoping to start a family. As my research progressed I found not only the obvious obstacles but also a great deal of unexpected vitriol-often from people who were close to me and I expected to support my choices. These strong feelings on the nature of ‘family’, ‘parents’ and what was seen as acceptable has ignited a debate which I wish to address. I am looking to find people at all stages of the process of finding a co parent-whether it be the first steps, someone looking into the logistics and legalities of it, or someone who is expecting a child with somebody they have found to co parent with. If your wonderful website could help in any way to find such people I would be incredibly grateful.
