I would like some advice, single woman wanting a child

    by Stubzcat      .      12 Jan 2021

    Hi,
I really just want some advice.
I'm 34 years old, I had one child and they passed away 9 years ago now, ever since I have wanted more children, the many I was with kept telling me to wait a little longer a little longer, then last year he decided he doesn't want children any time soon =(
It has been heartbreaking to realise that I put this off for someone that never intended to do this with me. So I decided I really just want to focus on having a child right now, I'm not rich though, I dont have the money to pay for a private clinic which is literally the only advice I got from my GP.
I was wondering if it's possible to buy from a sperm bank and do an ici, is that legal? Or, are there any charities to help single women to pay fertility clinic prices? To be honest any advice would be amazing, sorry for rambling! Tysm for any advice.

Would NI be an option for you ? I’m sure you would find some NI donors on here who would help you

Have you not considered NI. Sure there
Would be offers of that on here for you and would save the clinic fees

I can make you pregnant for free. You don't need to be rich to be a mother, and I think that you deserve a bit of happiness, happy to help you .

I find myself in a very very similar situation. Would love to keep in touch and share any answers we manage to find. It feels so daunting but I am 100% that I would like a living child.

    Hey can I help xxx

    Just exploring
I wish you'll find your solution
    But if nothing text me
    As last option
    Thanks

cant help but cringe at these guys like dogs in heat

Are you looking for donor or advice ?

I agree and cringe at the response from some people here. I will recommend to keep your options open. Have you researched on clinics in Spain. They offer free consultations. Also explore what options are here in this site by speaking to people. I do believe there are right people here who understand your situation and willing to help. There will always be rotten ones every where and as long as you weed them out, you could get what you want. Good luck

I didn't see anyone mentioning home insemination kits. You can find an AI donor.
There are pros & cons. The clinics would offer you the best service and the most checks, but at a cost. I am not aware of charities covering this.
You can take your time to find the right donor and have similar checks (STI, DNA) that they do in-clinic if you wish. STI checks are free and I consider normal to ask; but not DNA are a bit expensive, a donor might ask you to pay for that extra.

Become parents thanks to sperm donation or co-parenting

Families come in a multitude of forms: same-sex parented families, blended families, single-parents raising their children alone or co-parents sharing custody of their children. These are just a few examples of the many and varied possibilities. Whether you are single, in a same-sex relationship or part of a couple experiencing infertility, you too can become parents. Your first step will be to find alternative solutions to enable you to have a baby.
